Present Mode
Boom’s Present Mode enables more efficient and streamlined screen sharing during calls.
Getting Started
Section titled “Getting Started”To activate Present Mode during a call, click the Present icon in the Boom Remote. You can also use the keyboard shortcut: Option + Cmd + S.
Selecting Content to Share
Section titled “Selecting Content to Share”After clicking the Present icon, a window displays available applications for screen sharing. You can either select a specific app icon to filter results or browse the complete list. Once you’ve identified your desired window, click it to proceed.
Launching the Presentation
Section titled “Launching the Presentation”The Boom Present window opens alongside the Boom Present Remote. Your self-view tile in the video call will display “Presenting.” This text appears mirrored to you but displays correctly for other participants.
Sharing Your Screen
Section titled “Sharing Your Screen”Access your video conferencing platform (Zoom, Meet, etc.) and initiate screen sharing. Select the Boom Present window from the available options.
Managing and Ending
Section titled “Managing and Ending”Switch to the application or tab you’re sharing to control content. To conclude the presentation, first disable screen sharing in your conferencing app, then select the red stop button in the Boom Present Remote.
