Presentation Setup Guide

Boom transforms screen sharing by integrating your content directly into your video feed rather than displaying it separately. Boom turns screen shares into screen shows with presenter overlays, transitions, and layouts that create a unified video stream.

The platform performs optimally when displaying big, clear visuals where audiences should concentrate on primary concepts rather than intricate text or detailed interfaces.

Cinematic Zoom magnifies specific areas:

  • Press Control + Cmd + Z to zoom in/out of content sections
  • Alternatively, click the magnifier icon on the Boom remote
  • Ideal for product walkthroughs and minute details

iPhone and iPad screens can be shared within attractive device frames:

  • Connect your device via USB cable to your computer
  • Pick your iOS device from the screen picker menu
  • Mobile display renders with an elegant device frame
  • Position yourself prominently so viewers concentrate on both you and your material
  • Maintain a dependable internet connection
  • For several browser tabs, open them as distinct windows and share each separately
  • Google Meet: Content appears mirrored to you but displays normally for viewers
  • Zoom: Navigate to Video Settings > Video & Effects and disable “Mirror my video”
  • Virtual backgrounds: Turn off blur and virtual background effects in Meet/Zoom; use Boom’s alternatives instead
